STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

DOESN’T TURN ON

For an electric stove won’t turn on, first check if the appliance power cord is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light on gas stoves. If the oven is plugged in or if the pilot light is on in the oven, that means some other part of the oven will have to be replaced. The cause of the problem could be the infinite switch, surface element, oven igniter or bake and broil element.

OVEN WON’T HEAT

A burner or stove or oven that does not heat does not do much. Your oven does not heat when there’s a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor. A burner won’t turn on when an element breaks or the burner switch or the terminal block do not work. We know how to troubleshoot and repair these problems in no more than 1-2 hours after an appointment begins.

TIMER PROBLEMS

You can assume the control panel on an oven is broken if the timer or program settings are not working. If that is the case, we know how to replace control panels on LG, Sears, GE, Kenmore, KitchenAid and most other brands and models of stoves, ovens and ranges. We provide a warranty on all of the control boards and the replacement parts we install for this oven repair service.

OVEN IS TOO HOT

You always need a hot oven. Just not too hot! When the oven heat is extremely hot, it might be due to a broken thermostat or sensor. Our appliance repairmen know how to identify the reason for the problem and repair it. Always be careful if troubleshooting this issue for fear of body burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WILL NOT LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is when an igniter will glow but it does not light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We can determine if we are able to repair these parts or if we need to replace the part.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning models of ovens sometimes have door problems. The door does not open after the oven cleans itself. We monitor the door latch, thermostat and seal to troubleshoot why the door doesn’t open up and then complete the necessary repair in order to correct the issue.
